Just a quick one guys,

There is a socket which is around 50mm away from the water stopcock. Minimum I believe is 150mm, is this a C2 or C3?

Thanks

Regs book and OSG are in the van and I'm inside but at the beginning of the OSG there's a picture of a gas meter and I'm sure it says electrical cables need to be 25mm from pipes and outlets/CCU needs to be 150mm from gas and water services (gas meter and stopcock)
Also I do a lot of maintenance work for councils and the supervisor always makes me move outlets to 150mm when I report back after a test.

The OSG reminds you of the regulations regarding separation from gas not water.
150 mm from gas meter
25 mm from gas pipework.
(If you ever see this done then let me know)

Tel as usual has summarised it in a nutshell.

How high is the stop-cock? How low is the socket outlet? Full information req'd. RCD protected?Radial? Ring? Size of cable? Everything ok C3,any defects,C2.

I don't think anyone on here is going to say it needs replacing, some may even argue that it's not even a c3.
