Hi All,

Got a call to look at some cabinet lights in a kitchen which had been moved to another room.

Guy who disconnected lights cut them off and left some cables short.

Lights are internal strip 13w 230/240 supply and was looking at whether there was enough cable to join them all together (4 cabinet lights) and then connect to mains.

Cables are going to be behind units and not easily accesible.

An ideas on the best solution/neatest solution to this?

crimp connectors and heat shrink sleeving. as the joints will nmot be accessible

if you've got an inch of space where the joints are, you can use a small polyprop. box to house the crimps.saves buying heat shrink. just to make sure the joints are double insulated

Not sure what im going to do at the mo as thinking access even to crimp and hs is going to be a pain - might just put 3amp plugs on each light and hope they have got a lot of sockets - joking
