Hi let me start by saying that I am new to Electricians Forums and would like to say hello to everyone.

At present I am rewiring an old workshop that is going to be used to store large vehicles and occasionally animals, I have use SWA for all the wiring to date but I am not sure what is the best cable to use for the lighting circuits, they are all out of reach in the steel work so no chance of coming into contact with them, I don't really want to use SWA if possible so I would appreciate any recommendations that would also comply with Inspection And testing.

Thanks

Gordon

Personally I would stick to the SWA into a galv boxes and then flex into the fitting it can easily be added to and altered in the future , and cable is protected ,a more flexible option than alternatives
