I don't have my regs book with me at the moment and was wondering if one of you kind people could help me out with this cable calc?

I am busy rewiring a house that is currently on a TT system. The owners want the meter moved to the other side of the house, but Southern were out today and said it was not possible and the meter would have to stay where it is. Seeing as I have all my cables in already to where the customer wants the board, I have no option to make it a submain.

Now, I intend on running SWA from the meter to the new board which is about 20m in length, the cable will be clipped direct, In is 100A, Ib would be no more than 80A.

I think 16mm2 should be ok, but just want to check!

Cheers chaps

Mark
