I have my napit inspection this week and was wondering in how much detail do they look at the clipping in the loft as most cables are done but parts are not as i did it after the loft was insulated do you think they will look that close?

It is one of the unusual aspects of the Napit inspection
They tend to be very meticulous checking the loft cables, and even go as far as measuring the distances apart of the clips, also whether they span beams without mechanical support

Lo and behold if they find loft insulation over the cables, they make you do all the calculations to see if its still ok
Some of the assessors were reluctant to do this part of the inspection, but were won over by the issue of throw away white suits and breathing apparatus

You will probably be lucky though, and have one of the few who wouldn't go in a loft if their life depended on it

I will re phrase that last sentence

You will definitely be lucky and have one who wont go in a loft
