Cable for cooker

We are thinking of having a electric ranger, rated at 13.8KW. The cable we have installed is a 10mm twin and earth, cable run of around 10m, run under the floor with no insulation.I just want to clarify that the cable is big enough. From my understanding a diversty rulke applies in that the first 10amps are taken into account then the remaining 30% of the remaining load, therefore 10 +(50x30%) = 15 = 25AMPS plus 5amps for the socket = 30Amps, therefore can i put it on a 32rcbo.

Can anyone please tell me if this is correct, or any further advice

Thanks

looks good to me you could go to 40 amps on the MCB what does the manufacturer say it should be protected by thats the real question install what the say to install

watts/volts=Amps
13800/230=60 Amps
But the rating is it all on full tilt(I think)
Diversity will drop this down tho.

your spot on mate calc are correct , to do it you work out your total current rating then the first 10 amps 30% of the remaining them 5 amps for the socket
so its 60 amps

50 x 30% = 15 amps
plus first 10 amps = 25 amps
plus the socket = 5

total 30 amps so theoretically your 32 amp would be acceptable

sorry about first post mind was else where
