cable in conduit | on ElectriciansForums

Discuss cable in conduit in the Electrical Wiring, Theories and Regulations area at ElectriciansForums.net

It depends on many factors - length of run, number bends and sets, cable and conduit tolerances, cable grouping, current carrying capacity and free air space etc. However, you should be able to work out the number of cables you can safely draw in for yourself mate with help of the OSG+A1:2011 Appendix E, but be aware the electrical effects of cable grouping and current carrying capacity are not taken in to account in the simplified filling calculation.
