Loft conversion Building Regs now demand high heat loss prevention such as celotex between rafters etc. The latest published regs still specify cable in ventilation area above celotex can have cables clipped to rafters but I am led to believe this is changing (or has changed). Can anyone please advise on any variations beyond using a higher capacity cable to counteract heat dissipation - say 1.5 T&E lighting instead of 1.0 T&E.

There appear to be two issues: 1. The celotex has a conductive coating and 2. The cable's proximity to the insulation itself. Solutions may be plastic conduit or some other but any advice, or direction to further information would be very much appreciated.
