Cable runners/rollers?

HI,

I can't seem to find any cable rollers/runners anywhere, is there a specific name for them?

You know that yellow folding nmetal one with the metal bar or even theplastic one that clicks together!

I have the cablestik by thorsman. It's good and holds a lot, but a little heavy and bulky especially for domestic situations. Depends on what you need it for. It's great if you are running a lot of singles off to go in trunking.

a 25mm hole cutter
a 1m length of 25mm tube
2 flanged couplers
2 25mm bushes
job done!

OK guys, here is your answer Cabro Eaziroll Ltd - Home not the cheapest but certainly the best, features a free running feed roller as opposed to the fixed bar method, which causes cables to tangle and also an adjustable cable guide bar.

I use the Rack-a-Tier but you will need a length of 25mm steel conduit.

As above, but instead of 4 equal lengths of 20mm conduit, make 2 a couple of inches longer than the other 2.
This will raise it slightly on one side as you look at it and thus keep all the reels down at one end reducing snagging.

I just received my cabro eaziroll, I have to say it is worth the money (not cheap) but despite trying you can't get the cable tangled or caught up which really p*$sses me off, especially if when up a ladder. Nice piece of kit and well made....

I needed to replace my rod set a while back and I bought the set with the cable jack. I was a bit sceptical, but when I used it I found it to be very good. Particularly as the leg width can be set at any point along the tube so it can be set for the reel width but also at just the right width for sitting on joists.
