cable sizing help reqd

hi guys, starting a new job on mon whoop whoop back to the rat race problem is i need to visit many sites and make quick descisions on sizes of cables etc but i was wondering if anybody knows of some type of software or online calculator that will help me do this quicker rather than spend hours reading the brb i have checked out the electacourse online calculator but i am not convinced it gives the right info many many thanks if you can help me out on this

it doesn't take that long to read the BRB especially if you are going to be doing it regularly as you get used to the process and where to look etc.

What work are you doing that requires you to work this out in a rush?

I agree. Once you get used to where everything is in the BRB, it's probably just as quick to flick through it.

Standard circuits in the OSG are pretty quick. Although if the buck stops with you I would take a little more time and do it right, use the BRB and calculate for yourself, also keep records of these calculations you might need them.
