hi all if you have 10 kilo of 2.5 t/e what is the percentage of copper to outer sleeving . and what do you do with your waste and of cuts . srape the with te sleeving on or stripe it thank you

do you get more if you strip it? I spent hours as an apprentice stripping scrap cable...then someone nicked it from my shed.

£4.50 a kilo stripped against £1 not

Yeah but what i`v noticed scrap dealers doing now is knocking the price down for copper that "aint bright"...ffs...only a bit of oxidisation that dulls it.....all comes good in the pot.......just another way of getting summat for nowt...........

Ahh but who says i have to pay them cash. Im thinking more along the lines of they dont eat till i have a nice shiny pile of copper. They are 3 and 7 so still young enough to be bullied.
