Discuss Cables in zones in the Electrical Wiring, Theories and Regulations area at ElectriciansForums.net

Hi and welcome to the forum:D
[ElectriciansForums.net] Cables in zones

If you run cables outside the zone they have to be mechanically protected (steel conduit or a cable that incorperates a protective earthed armouring to required standards) as these are rarely used in domestic then stick to the zones only and dont forget mains wiring in a partition will require rcd protection as its likely to be less than 50mm from the surface.

At some point, all sewage pumps will fail, or need extensive maintenance. I make it quite clear that I'm not interested in either.
