Just doing PIR on commercial property. has a suspended grid ceiling with 18"x18" fluorescents....thing is the cables are just laying across the ceiling grid......test readings are all fine but would this be a recommendation to secure cables ? if so what code?

and thing is ii need to do some re arranging on their switching and some new lights plus a lighting circuit....but there ceilings and walls above suspended ceiling are just a joke...larve plaster and battered walls so finding hard to find somewhere i can actaully run new cables.............any ideas?

you could suggest fixing cables to old celing using clips or tywrapping to celinc suspension brackets if its like spagetti this happens a lot in shop fits ect IMO code 3 it requires improvement
