Hi All,
Ok here goes - R1+R2 calculations.
Using 2.5 T/E cable the calculation to find R2 is divide by 1.67 (or something similar).

Is there a calculation for using 1.5 T/e (1.0mm cpc). 4mm T/E, 6mm T/E etc etc ???????????????

You divide the csa of the live conductors by the csa of the cpc

1.5 Ă· 1 = 1.5

2.5 Ă· 1.5 = 1.67

4 Ă· 1.5 = 2.67

6 Ă· 2.5 = 2.4

10 Ă· 4 = 2.5

16 Ă· 6 = 2.67

Hi Chloebear,
If your R1 was say 0.67ohms (based on 2.5mm cable), then you x it by 1.67 to obtain the R2,

So 0.67 x 1.67= 1.12 ( R2 result).

Hope this helps.
