Hi, this weekend I bought my first tester (a fluke 1653) absolute bargain, got it for ÂŁ170 and it was from an electrical engineer who hardly used it, you could easily pass it off as brand new.

It needs calibrating though and I was wondering if anyone knows of some good/well priced calibration services either online or in the Bristol/bath area.

I've had a look around and i can find a few but no prices so I don't really know what the going rate is as I've never had to get a tester calibrated.

I would suggest about ÂŁ45 to ÂŁ65 for an MFT calibration.
Sometimes the wholesalers have calibration days that can be good value and quick, so worth asking if yours does this.

This company is often highly recommended on here but I am not sure of they cover Bristol, worth a call maybe.
If you have found a local service already then call them and find out how much they would charge.
