Can anybody help with the fault of teleswitch in my flat...

These days from 11pm to 6am, there are very frequent switching sound from the switch pannel (around every 10 minutes). The sound is from the ABB contactor ESB 24-40, which is used to control storage heaters. A new contactor has been changed but the problem is still there:bomb2:...So I guess the problem should be caused by the control signal of the contactor. I don't have the wiring diagram so I can not find the signal source.
Did anyone have the similar problem and any suggestions for that...

My ideas based on the information you have:
As you have a contactor then this indicates that the power for the E7 part of your supply is controlled by a separate timer (not the teleswitch). Quite often the timer is integrated into the consumer unit and should be located beside the contactor.
From your description of the fault it does sound like the contactor is going on and off and this would indicate a failure in the control circuit.
It is possible that the timer is located outside of the CU but it would normally be fairly close as it is wired to the control coil of the contactor, however it may have been placed near to the storage heaters "for convenience".
Have look for a digital or mechanical timer nearby and this may be the problem, try resetting it and then do some timer tests (with the storage heaters all switched off so you do not waste power) and see if the contactor is failing to operate correctly.

Around here, all the E7 installs I've seen use the radio teleswitch for the storage heaters and the timer is for the immersion heater only.

Guys, thanks for your reply and suggestions! The problem has been solved. The engineer from the electricity company came and changed the electricity meter, and then the problem was solved. I think it was caused by the control signal from electricity meter...
