Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good certification software?

I have used Amtech for Donkeys years but am getting hacked off with paying the pricey monthly tech support/update premium. Mainly because I know the software (And all its glitches) pretty well inside out so don't really need tech very often.
Their updates are very few and far between these days, and always seem well behind any regulation changes or the like that drive the required changes. The updates also never seem to include much improvement for which there is alot of scope in my opinion. So I'm not really sure what I'm paying for every month?

I know Amtech are a sponsor on this website so it'll be interesting to see how long this message stays on the forum...

Hi spud1, yes we are a sponsor but we welcome comments, even the ones that are not always great, this lets us know what users think and what we need to change in the future.
I’m surprised about your concerns over the support, I would like to look into it. Please can you contact me direct to see if there is something we can do for you. (Or Private Message me with your details and I will give you a call).

I know the NICEIC have got a software anybody know whether thats any good?

The NIC software is good, Can't fault it.
Although there free online stuff is rubbish and won't let you write in some boxes!!
Also paying for each cert costs a fortune.
Best option is to google CLIK NIC software and get it through them not the NIC.
They will talk you through it and do a online screen share with you so you can see what they are doing.
Hope this helps
