IS it me or can clients, people asking for jobs to be done not read.

Or do they just think will do the job/work for free and a laugh.

You brake down/list the cost to different job they have asked you to do. lest say three jobs (for this example) they then only won't you to do one of the jobs that you quoted on. you say fine do the one job charge them for that one job and they say ooh thats not we discussed i thought that was part of the previous jobs you done.. (repeat client)

NO that why sent you a quote for new works you asked for.

Iam not a ******* charity..

any one else

Sorry ranting, can't type/spell and the best of times..
Then a simple piece of advise.
Type you message into a word processor first. That will take out at least some errors.
It won't fix won't when you want want but it will possibly help some.
Then copy it into the message board.

I'm not taking a pop at you. You are certainly not alone.

Back to the OP.

Go back and read the estimate / quote you sent the client and see if there is any ambiguity - and if there is just make sure that you don't repeat the error on future estimates/quotes

I don't think anyone on here is going to say it needs replacing, some may even argue that it's not even a c3.
