Is there a way I can attach a pdf file which is on my hardrive to include in a thread..? (hope that makes sense)

Yup, when making a post just click on "Manage Attachments" under Additional Options. (under the main text box)

Browse for your pdf, and upload it.

yes mate take a look above on the paper clip and then select the pdf you want.

Yep......just click on "manage attachments" underneath the text box when you are replying to or starting a new thread, select the file in you hard drive by clicking "browse" then "upload" and jobs a good un.
