[ElectriciansForums.net] Can I sell this on ebay?

Selling this for a friend.
I can stick my finger through the grills and touch the live elements, obviously not legal!
Is there a get out clause I can put in the ebay ad to absolve myself from any responsibility?
Passes E cont & IR tests.

disconnect the flex from it fully Some pub or other will like the bakalite effect and want it for the "Look" rather than the heating capabilities
TEX You can touch the elements on most toasters ect

I would disclaim by stating something along the lines - this is a vintage item and as such may not be able to comply with modern stringent safety standards, by bidding you agree understanding of this and accept potential implications.

you can stick your finger onto the element of an electric fire.

Oh yeah! I'm a bit dim at times.
Definitely over thinking this one. Worrying some knob would try it on when their kid has stuck a finger into it.
Think I'll go with ohreally & sambotc's suggestions.

You'd be mad to use it as a heater anyway, get more heat from 100W GLS.

Cheers chaps!
