Can I use past 2382-10 exam papers as practice for when I take the 2382-12 exam or have the regulations changed too much to do that?

I have looked at both old and new and allot of the questions are the same. Have a quick look at the font of the regs (green book) for amendment 1 changes and keep that in mind when looking at the old questions.

Quite a lot of things have been moved about from where they were in the red book, to where they are in the green book. I wouldn't beat yourself up about doing too much practise with the questions, you will get enough of that on your course. I deliver the course, and the best advice i can give you, is to just make yourself familiar with the layout of the book, so you know what Part 1 is and so on. If you want to just flip through the book to gain a bit of knowledge then concentrate on Parts 4 and 5, as this is where about half of your questions will come from. If you are familiar with the layout of the book it will help you a lot, and you will find finding the answers a lot easier. The exam questions usually start from the front of the book and progressively work there way towards the back as you go through the exam.
