just started nvq3 online,i was looking into buying multifunction tester and probably joining elecsa in future i was looking on e bay at second hand testers without calibration and wondered if you need to calibrate your tools, i was sure that 17th edition has a point that if checked regulary and logged then no need.
is this correct? do you need calibration cert for nvq3 ? do you need cert for joining elecsa?

elecsa will want to see your calibration cert. you can check between calibrations with e.g.a calcard, to extend the interval. MFT calibration on site for ÂŁ57.50. hopefully, you will buy one that will pass calibration. go for a megger 1552. should be going fair price now the new meggers are out.
