Can you still do an NVQ instead of an SVQ if you're in Scotland?

I'm looking at training and i could potentially move anywhere in the UK, so i'm just checking out my options.

If i were to, for example, get the C&G 3, when i begin working and want to do my on site portfolio stuff, could i still do an NVQ3 if i'm physically located in Scotland, or would it have to be the SVQ3?

Great question.

In theory should be interchangeable/equivalent. If you started down the NVQ3 route before moving to Scotland, then I would expect you could transfer what you have down already over to SVQ3, but not 100%.
