Currently doing my 2330 lvl2 and was just wondering about if you can take the onsite guide and the 7671 regs book into your exams? Might sound a silly question but obviously when your qualified they are to be used daily within your work so was thinking they should be available during your training etc.

Anyone?

Hi,

When I did my 2330 lv2 it consisted of 4 online exams (multichoice), 2 practical tests. One practical test was demonstrating the safe isolation procedure, the other was a 10 hour installation in a little workshop. 10 hour installation exam is the only one you can take an OSG with you, all others you are limited to a scientific calculator (non programmable).

thanks for that. How did you find the level 2? I just started in november and i'm having my first practical this week for 3 days (Basic Electrical workshop) then my UP1 practical for 3 day in 2 weeks time. I think I may be "Overstudying" the coursework as i'm thinking that i'll not be able to remember most of it!!!

You can never "overstudy." Just means a lot of info goes into your head then when you get into the exams, you hope your brain will pick out the relevant stuff. lol.

As for the course itself, I loved every minute of it. Its something I wish I'd have done when I left school and could have done an apprentiship but never had the guidance. I did it at evening college 6pm till 9pm two nights a week, did a fulls days shift then went to college, but I didnt mind the long days because I enjoyed it soo much.
