domestic spark

can you run MT4 trunking externally across the side of the house, and re enter further along the house. so as to avoid trunking in the property.

id say no. but why would i? what IP rating is the MT4?

and what if it was for 6mm 2x2.5mm 10mm bond?

regs and reasons apreciated please many thanks chaps

You can use MT4,it will provide adequate protection against external influences and mechanical damage in the situation you describe....but it will look a pigs ear.
Personally I cant abide PVC minitrunking on brickwork internally or externally....but thats nothing to do with regulations.

what size PVC coduit for a 6mm t&e 10mm earth and 2x2.5mm TAR

What are you supplying, from the cabling it sounds like a kitchen extension or something.
Would it be possible to run a submain in swa to a small c/u and take you circuits from there.
Just a suggestion cus I,m not sure what your trying to acheive.
Either way MT4 on an outside wall will look pants, agree with wirepuller on that one. ;)

If you have to go on outside wall, conduit is far more neater and easier to transition through building with single terminal boxes at each end (please dont use white conduit on brickwork - unless brick is painted white, lol). Size depends on length of run/ bends/sets. Use correct spacing on saddles otherwise it will look cr*p.

Also would be better to use singles then you would probably get away with 25mm conduit (use table in OSG to calculate size of conduit).

And dont forget to factor in the wire lube into your calcs. :D:D:D
