Can’t get these connections in to sit? | on ElectriciansForums

Discuss Can’t get these connections in to sit? in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

There is a small metal prong that clicks into the plastic as you push them in, make sure it is bent out a little before pushing into plastic holder.

Or, if that's not the solution, we need more info. Did you just crimp the contacts and want to insert them into the housing for the first time? If so, then sometimes the crimp tool can distort the contact so that it simply will not fit correctly, perhaps because the crimp die is not correct for the contact or was slightly out of position.
