So I'm about to start the electrical course level 2 in September and I've just started working for an electrical company so all is well.

However I've always wanted to live in a different country and thought I could take this qualification and make a career of it somewhere else. But the more I've been reading I've noticed it's really hard and takes years to get assessed and get your license for another country.
The course itself takes years
At first I thought I could study and once completed that was it but now I know that's completely wrong.

I'm really worried that i made a mistake... I need a career but not just in the UK
Has anyone been through the same? Maybe you realised to late and had to go through the extra years of effort to get your license for a different country....

The country I plan to go to in a couple years is Singapore

I'd like to visit Singapore but not to work as a sparks ! Seriously though proper qualifications in any trade will stand you in good stead where ever you end up in the world. Plus if you ever come back to Blighty they will serve you well here as well..
