Hi I'm looking for some advice, I'm really keen to progress my career as an electrician and would just like peoples opinions and advice on the best ways todo this e.g what courses etc i should be looking to undertake.
I have been looking into possibly doing a HNC, complex or some sort of instrumentation qualification which I'm struggling to find info about.

i currently have;
level 3 nvq
17th edition wiring regs
2394 and 95
ipaf 3a 3b

i would really appreciate any advice thanks.

It seems to open the most doors, you can stay on the tools and get paid more, or move into more office work with it. I can't remember the route exactly either but you can get your hnc, then the hnd, and then I think you can turn it into a full degree with not much more studying on top. Something like hnc is 8 modules, 16 for
Hnd and a degree is a few more on top, obviously depends on how far you want to go. I'd reasearch what I've said though if that's what your interested in, cuz it was a while ago since I looked into it, and that was from memory.

Hope this helps.
