Hi There

My client has had a load of cctv cameras taken out of the office which he owns and and was wondering whether i could fit some around his house.

They are a vista vvrd2v6cm-540 with all the psus, dvr, screen, etc.

they look like they are just plug and play.

I have attached some photos if you would like to to help me work them out?

If they are just plug and play, what leads would they need and where would I get them from?

Thanks steve

Yes it's coax cable but with the power feed for the cameras attached to it. For what the cameras are I would go for cat5 cable about £75 For 300 meters and a set of baluns for each camera you fit about £3

RG59 cable with crimped on BNC connectors for the signal. 12V PSUs and cat5 or alarm cable for the power. a 5A PSU from maplins ( £20 ) has 4 plug in outlets to run 4 cameras. sometimes it's better to fit a plug in PSU local to each camera.
