hey guys, when you do a ccu change and test do you fill in a p.i.r or a e.i.c?

and what in regards to other electrics in the property, or do i just note on the front page, ccu change only?

you need to test all circuits with a consumer unit change and issue an eic also ensure all bonding is up to scratch ideally do a pir before you replace it itl show up any probs

Do you mean a cu (consumer unit)?
If you're changing a ccu (cooker control unit) like for like you wouldn't need to fill in a certificate.

For Napit I have to fill out a EIC and on first line of test results schedule put "Consumer unit change pkease see attached PIR".

I go through a pen a board change.

im on about a ccu( customer consumer unit, is what iv always been told), would i be right in saying tho if i'm with elesca part p scheme you cant do p.i.r's??

Anyone who is competent can do a P.I.R. Just can't use schemes reports.

If you mean the defined scope and full scope when referring to part p schemes it's nothing to do with 3 phase.

Defined scope is for trades that carry out minor electrical work as part of their main job (e.g. kitchen fitters).

Full scope is where electrical work is your main job and allows you to carry out and self-certify any electrical work within domestic dwellings.
