Hi All,
i have removed a ceiling rose, to install an LED light, the issue i have is, i have 2 black wires and 2 red and an earth coming out of the ceiling, the LED has only 3 live, neutral and earth, basically what goes where ?

thanks

Do not mix the two blacks up!
The two reds need connecting together but not connected to the light, they are the live loop. The black at the rose connected with the brown is live, the other black is neutral.

I’m sure the LED light won’t mind being reverse polarity…. It’s possibly got the same colours within it as live and neutral.

Agree with everything above…. But the more understandable terminology would be

Both reds - permanent live. These will still be live even if the room switch is off, so please isolate the circuit at your consumer unit before working.
Thawed should be connected together properly using an insulated connector.
There are many examples of this being done wrongly online where they’ve just been twisted together and taped up.
Do it properly, for safety sake.

Black (should have red tape or sleeving to identify) connected to brown of the pendant flex. - Switched live. This is the one that turns on and off as you flick the room switch.

Black (plain) - Neutral. Connected to blue of the pendant flex.
