I am sure that this has been asked before but i would like to know the differences between the following NICEIC certs.

Domestic Electrical Installation Certificate

DCR6
DCR5
DCN5

Electrical Installation Certificate

ICR2 (24)
ICR2
ICR3
ICN2
ICN2 (24)

Peridodic Inspection Certificate

IPR2
IPR2 (24)
IPN2
IPN2 (24)

Cant help you with this one, but the NICEIC like to make there own stuff, and some of it is crap in my opinion.
It matters not what the NICEIC make, the ones that count are the model forms in BS7671, these are the industry standard, and have all the required content, and the good thing about these, they are free, and there is only one of each type of work, so no problems about which one you should use, as long as you know what to use for a given job like EICR for a periodic, etc etc.

There are 2 EIC's, one multi signature, and one single signature.
