hi all im basically looking to be starting on my own very shortly but the question i have is i served my time in industrial have svq level 2 and 3, nc electrical engineering, nc electronic engineering, 16th edition, and hnc electrical engineering, ive been doing domestic work for the last six months but dont have a grade card does anyone know if i could get one with serving my time in maintenance side of things and could i sign certificates thanks in advance for any help
 
hi if you wish to carry out electrical work on domestic dwellings u'll need to be registered with a part p provider like the NICEIC once thts done u'll be able to sign off all your own electrical installations in the domestic scene.:cool:

Not entirely true, you can pre notify the LABC concerned and pay the fees, but Part P registration is easier and a lot more straight forward.

Have look at the webites for elecsa, napit, eca, niceic etc, you pays your money and takes your chance, i`m with elecsa, no problems.
