Hello All,

I am looking at a change of career from IT to becoming an electrician. There's so many courses out there and I'm a little stuck on the right route and was hoping someone can help.

I basically want to be fully qualified to be able to work on both domestic and commercial sites and I'd like to be able to sign off my own work.

I have found this course and would like some opinions please

Thank you in advance.

Chris

If you have a search for Able Skills on this forum you will find a variety of threads about their courses that may help you decide.

Practical experience is a major factor in being able to operate effectively as a competent electrician.

This website may provide some guidance on the available routes to be coming qualified and competent, though you will need to be aware of the dates when courses were available as the course number and content change frequently.
