changes to Part P

Has anyone heard of the changes to Part P that are coming into force?

Work in areas such as Kitchens now now not require notification to building control. Wasn't work

Yep, ridiculous.

Cannot wait too see what some of the stereotypical 'kitchen fitters' come up with.

(although they were never really stopped before)

As they would say in Henry VIII's time....off with part-p's head.

Look on the bright side. The get off yer horse and drink yer milk brigade, wont need to be paying 500 quid a year to the money grabbers now.
They can buy extra oats for the horses instead.
Gonna be some empty seats in the five day wonder courses though.

I just think its bizarre as Part P was brought in as a MP's daughter was killed by a kitchen fitter doing electrical work in the kitchen.

Now carrying out electrical work in the kitchen is no longer notifiable.
