Hey I got this job to do for my landlord at different houses. It is to run some 25 new cables including 2 el.showers and some 15 sockets.10 lights. The houses are identical 1 stories + loft conversion, where there will be showers and kitchen(no cookers) Testing and certification of everything. The landlord will provide some tools and some help as well and all the materials. He just wants me to tell him price and material we'd need to do this.
Can you please tell me how much would you charge for this job as I wasn't doing this big job for a couple of years and don't know the charges. Evenings and weekends only. To me it seems like 20 hours job + testing and cert. I have 17th and sat the seminar for amendments also..
Thank you very much
Martin

Sounds like this work is notifiable - are you a registered sparkie?

As for the costs - only you know what your day/hour rate needs to be.

I don't know how you expect anybody to price the job without seeing it!

If you think its a 20 hour job then price it accordingly ..... but your client will expect you to get faster as you move from house to house!
