Hi all,

I need to chase 4 walls for light switches shortly. Its in my own home. Had it re-wired few months back but due to time restrictions had to have wall mounted switches and trunking fitted.

Was planning on using my sds drill then 25mm chisel, covering cable with pvc channeling.

Any tips or better/easier ways ?

Thanks

Have to admit im thinking of getting a wall chaser as always used a good old bolster and lump i do however have a set of armeg channeling chisels seem very good on u tube video ! havent used them as yet but might not stand up so well on hard brick as breeze block etc but if dust isnt an issue then an angle grinder seems ok as well.
Good post ! and with a wall chaser that another new tool to unwrap and smell lol

Bolster - scutch & the trusty club hammer.

It is after all only 4 chases from ceiling to the light switch location, not exactly time or energy consuming is it.

Ah but think of the fun of looking through catalogues & within the deep dark recesses of tool shops & then finally rubbing your hands over a shiney brand new tool ........ er .....or is that just me, Kung & the other toolaholic members:D:D

I can and do chase by hand, but I must say I find the wall chaser quicker, neater and cleaner, stick the hoover (must have a bag) on and away you go, little dust on Mables carpet and a perfect fit for 20mm oval, nice and easy to fill! Would not go back!!!!
