I pay a bloody fortune for P clips whehn I need them! I'm not even after metal ones, nylon is fine, but they are a rip off! I don't get it, normal cable clips are cheaper and they've got a bloody nail in them!

So, does anyone know what's the cheapest place to get P clips? A lot of places don't even seem to list them, or am I searching for the wrong thing? Even my wholesalers don't do 'em!

I expect nobody sells them because nobody buys them because they're so expensive for what they are.
Last time I checked they were about ÂŁ60 for a bag of 100. I couldn't believe it when I found out; I asked some of the guys on the job I was working on where we were using loads of them - everyone thought they would cost a fiver a bag at most.

I reckon someone's having a laugh, probably on his way to the bank every day.

im sure i got some for about 3 quid for a hundred from maplins once when i was stuck on a job and they were the only ones about

Cheesers I must have been looking in the wrong place. Either that or they saw me coming.
I was looking at these ones:

The picture's a bit dark but they've got numbers on the backs of them relating to the size - the one on the far left is a 3, next one a 5, 7, 7, 5. a number 7 seems the best for strapping down a bit of 13mm conduit.

See that'#s it though, even a tenner plus the dreaded for a pack of poxy plastic cable clips is a joke! How come they cost so much??

I'm going to go into manufacturing I think.

A lot of issues can be solved by giving the connections an extra push with the back side of a Stanley blade if they haven't quite mates properly.
