Can anyone recommend a cheapish multifunction tester. I am still waiting for the MFT1720 I have preordered to come into stock but have now been told it will be March so need something for a few jobs in Feb.

I have been looking at the Di-Log 9083P or the Kewtech KT62 which are both around ÂŁ400. Anyone use these or anything similar around the ÂŁ350-400 mark?

Cheers

Iv tried the kewtech a couple of times & found it to be a very good tester, the memory function was a bit tedious but the auto rcd test was good as all the results were saved on the screen

what about getting a 1552 on the bay for around that price as they seem to hold the price well and you will be able to sell it on easy enough when the new one comes through

I thought about hiring but 4 weeks is about ÂŁ260 so thought I would buy a half decent one and keep it as a spare etc when I get the new Megger.

I looked on eBay Phil but really fancied a new one as they usually come with 2/3 years warranty and a years cal. For the budget I wanted to spend there was only really 3 that took my fancy.

Thanks for the replies.
