Took my dog for a walk the other day, down the local canal. This is what I saw!!!


They were trying to drive this crane down athe canal bank roughly about 3 metres wide!!!! The side of the canal collapsed and over went the crane.lol
Wouldnt like to of been the driver.lol They had to build two small brides across the canal so people could bypass it.

There is a hell of a lot paperwork that accompanies a lifting job including site access and ground pressure calcs so somebody got it wrong I certainly would not have attempted to put a crane along a canal bank

Imagine the size of crane that will have to lift that out!!!! If this thing didnt fit on the canal bank, how the hell is a bigger one gonna do it?????
Probably have to get prince William to lift it out with his "Sea Hawk", or what ever they call it.lol

i was shown those pics during a slideshow at a H&S training course.
we all thought it freakin hilarious lol.

and theres nooooooooo waaaaaaaaaaaay crane 6 will lift the equally sized crane 5 , must be the chuckle bros.

Ive just noticed the phone number on the side.........I wonder if it has one of the stickers on that says "Hows my driving? Call this number" I might give that number a ring!!lol
