i just put some v basic details up on the find trustrd tradesmen.co site yesterday and already today had some made up health and safety firm with a blocked number asking did i want my details put on a wall calender featuring trusted tradesmen. considering im not yet fully part p registered im not sure i would technically qualify. anyway i asked
ME "I suppose this would be would be for a small fee"
THEM "yes thats right a small fee"
ME "no thanks but can you do me a favour"
THEM a bit quieter "yeeess"
ME " can you remove my details from your records please"
THEM ..................

Had same thing from this guy saying he works for homebase ! said there looking to get on board (so he said ) tradesmen and need electricians for instore work ie when staff are questioned about electrical matters they can pass your details onto customers saying we use these ! etc etc blah blah then after 20mins of waffle there is a small charge of £80 for cards to be printed ! as if homebase would charge socalled staff ! turns out he got details off NIC website ! ive had more calls since being on it from salesmen than jobs ! one more and im getting my details taken off the site !
