It all depends on what so0rt of picker you need

I am capable of towing a trailer towaround (and have a seperate licence for this type of picker)

So I can collect it, this saves me the delivery and collection costs (£50 each way)
a Niffty 120 costs me locally
£100 +vat for 1 day
£160 +vat for 2 days
£200 +vat for 3 days
£240 +vat for a weeks hire

I'm based just outside manchester, but I do know hire charges are similar in Chelmsford

Depends on the type and size of the picker you need and how busy the company you ask to quote is. I don't use pickers much these days but a few years ago I was a regular user and the prices quoted varied quite a bit, so I would have a ring round for a good deal

The best thing you can do is call them up to see what the hiring rates to use the cherry pickers but just check their equiment to see they are up to modern codes and well mataniced.

I do own my cherry picker in USA and the rates varies depending on what it have to be done and this is what I useally charge in USA { in France I just hire and deal from there }

The minium charge rate is € 150 just to show up and that will cover first hour of using cherry picker or not { that will cover the fuel useage }

After that I go by hour rate are € 100 /hour plus my time as Electrician so it will end up € 150 / hr

unless it got a contract with customer like parking lot luminaire the rates will be little lower due I useation the picker in right way.

If emeregcy call it will be 2X of my normal rates

Merci.
Marc

Prices can vary as the longer you have it the cheaper it is, you can get charged £300 for a weeks hire but also get charged the same for a days hire.

Also make sure you have the right license for the MEWPS you want.
