Hi all

New to the forums - so hello everyone!

I have some Christmas lights that I need to extend. The length of the cable from the plug to the first light just isn't long enough.

My my question is what type of cable do I need to insert into the current wiring?

thanks
adam

I'm guessing these lights are extra low voltage. Therefore a suitable two core flex to match would suffice. If the lights are internal then I'd either crimp or solder the joints and use heatshrink to cover them. If external then look to use a suitable weather proof joint.

Where electricity is concerned there is no room for guessing!!!!!

Agree with SJD. Also the 2.4V you have from the 2 cells may not be enough, but worth a try.
