Well lads though it's 24c out here surrounded by the sand dunes with not a christmas tree in sight or a light that is festive.

I have to admit I do miss the crowded shops, the last minute panics, have we bought enough chocolates, can we survive the shops being closed for just one day, panic calls on christmas morning of the oven gone off and the in-laws are coming help, the sound of bloody music on one side and the Great Escape on the other, Noel Edmunds at Crinkly Dell, Slade wishing us all a Merry Xmas for the 1,768,056th time and last but not least the Christmas afternoon slob out ............
