Circuit blown but switch not tripped.....help needed.

Hi

Last night our upstairs lights circuit blew,the lights slowly faded rather than just popping off,they are spots.

I looked at the box and no switches had tripped. I have tried switching the switch to on and off but still no lights or bathroom fan.

Does anyone have any ideas what is happening and how it might be solved?

sounds like a connection has broken down. if you know what you're doing, start at the nearest light to the CU and test for volts. if not, call in a professional spark. i do not know from your post what your level of knowledge is.

sounds like a switch has burnt out.
