Does anyone know what the paperwork prior to the exam consists of and what the actual diagram is for the practical.

Besides being informed of a 3-d cubicle, what else should I be wary of ?; such as the actual circuit diagram; the tests etc.

Kind Regards.

When I did it there were 3 circuits - a sub main, 2 way lighting, and a radial with a spur.
You need to write a list or materials, a list of tools, a list of PPE and what they're for and do a basic risk assessment, which includes sketching a plan of the workshop and labelling where fire exits, fire extinguishers etc are.
You should already know what to expect, so the thing to do is learn the materials & tools lists and the circuit diagrams so you can replicate them from memory.

The paperwork will be different for each college due to the materials needed for their install. Don't forget the reasons behind exams, they are there to prove that you know the subject, you can't just copy others in real life like your asking here. The college should have given you a spec sheet of what is required of you to install. It's now down to you to write up a H&S plan, a materials list, a tool list just like Adam has said. Plan it out on paper first, how many back boxes therefore how many gromets etc, how many meters of what type of cable, singles, t+e, mims, swa or pyro? After all its just a shopping list just don't forget anything or you can't do the job. BTW good luck.
