I picked that kit up for my apprentice last month. That's a fairly competitive price.

Are you known to any wholesalers? I managed to haggle the kit down to £75+VAT but it was on top of on order I had made....

I haven't found an apprenticeship yet. But thought i'd get ready for when i do. I've finished college now, but maybe i could ask them if they could pick it up any cheaper from a wholesaler.

Cheers for the reply

just remember VAT but thats a good price unless you can chin your gaffer into getting it like along with a big order Widdly did Or you could try pleading poverty at wholesalers some are very helpfull also quote this price to them n haggle Good luck

You havn't found and apprenticeship yet and you are already looking at kitting out your tools...:eek:

You are gonna make an electrician very happy..

Hope you got your apprentice it as a THANK you for all the hard work you have done over and above what is expected Widdler

lol I was hoping it would make me more employable

Although nothing in my area at the moment. Moving to Oxford by the end of the year if all things go to plan. Hopefully i'll have better luck up that way.

Well, absolutely well done to you Hanko......If you were in my area looking for apprenticeship I'd employ you, no worries.

I've just got back from an open evening at my local college (been enquiring about HNC) and the riff raff that were there asking about elctrical courses really ****** me off......"I wanna do lectrics innit guv"......absolute bloody wasters. If thats the type of apprentice that will be coming out qualified in 3 yrs time god help us all.

So I wish you all the luck in the world Hanko as you already have the correct attitude it seems, and you will make a fine electrician I'm sure.;)

excellent mate, right track to what you want!! stay focused and ahead of the game and you do well..!!!

p.s i got that tool bag also!!!handy as hell, although i did snap my flat head driver on a stupid socket box :(

Hope you got your apprentice it as a THANK you for all the hard work you have done over and above what is expected Widdler

Something like that... Although it was more of a selfish act as he always had my best drivers on him and left me diggin in the bag.

He earnt it though.
