Evening all would just like to run this by you before I hand it in to be signed off if thats ok ?


Name a regulatory body relevant to your industry - Would I be correct in saying the IET and the BSI as they set the standards and the regulations we as electricians should be working to. I would also suggest the HSE and they define how we should be working safely amongst other things.


Professional bodies - I am assuming they are their for the trade so the likes of Elecsa,Napit,NICEIC who provide Part P, MCS and bafe assessment and certification services to electrical contractors in domestic dwellings.


Sector Bodies relevant to the electrical industry - The Engineering Construction Industry Training Board provides professional advice, information, skills development and qualifications to help individuals within engineering construction succeed in their chosen careers.

,regulatory body would also be building control as we have to abide by building regs. also EAWR.
the IET and BSI are also professional bodies as you can be a member of either or both
