Coax cable screening

Hi all,

Is coax aeriel cable effectively screened enough to run it in the same trunking as power cables ? or could you get interference on the aeriel ?

i think that the regs state that youust seperate band 1 and 2 circuits, unless they are all insulatedfrom the highest voltage present. this suggests to me that interference isnt a consideration as far as the regs go. I suppose it depends on how well grounded the coax screen is

coax is classed along with extra low voltage circuits and can be run only with other ELV cables, Not with Mains unless segregated trunking is used. BS7671 . 528.1
