Hi,

A cooker control is located 400mm above a hob, to the left had side. Is this a code 2?

Also the DB is in a cupboard above the hob and extractor. Do I just cry? here where the tails and earth come in, meter and cut out outside. I love 1960's wiring.

Is there any sign of heat damage? If there is then yes a code 2.

If none then no code at all. I suppose you could code it a 4 under 530.3, but if there is no sign of damage then nothing.

no sign of heat damage at all so happy with that. I was thinking that code 2 would be very harsh. As it's not directly behind the hob at socket height
